State Legislative & Election Outlook

We are pleased to welcome leadership from PHCC—Texas to discuss the latest developments in Austin.

  • Capitol & Legislative Update: Jennifer Rodriguez, PHCC—Texas State Lobbyist, will provide an insider’s briefing on activity at the State Capitol. Even with the legislature out of session, Jennifer will highlight the key issues and regulatory shifts currently in motion.

  • 2026 Election Preview: Jennifer will also dive into the upcoming state government races, explaining how potential outcomes could impact the trade and offering actionable ways for you to get involved in advocacy.

  • State Chapter Update: Vicki VanNest, Executive Director of PHCC—Texas, will share an update on state-level events, member initiatives, and upcoming opportunities within the Texas chapter.

Federal & National Briefing

We are also honored to be joined by Mark Valentini, PHCC Vice President of Legislative Affairs, coming to us from Washington, D.C. Mark will provide a crucial update on federal developments in Congress and the current administration.

With the post-2024 administration now fully in motion, Mark will discuss:
