PHCC State Board President Mark Park & State Director Vicki VanNest will update us on State events.
The 89th Texas Legislature convened in Austin Jan. 14. Jennifer Rodriguez will provide a brief overview of the legislative session and prepare you for what to expect when you visit the Capitol during session. She will also be available to answer your questions about the legislative process. The Walk on the Capitol in Austin is Feb. 26.
Mark Valentini, PHCC Vice President of Legislative Affairs is coming to join us to provide an update to PHCC North Texas members on federal developments in Congress and the administration in light of last year’s election outcomes. While the change in government provides opportunities for our industry to advance its priorities regarding energy and tax issues, challenges await us when it comes to workforce policy and tariffs. These matters can have a direct impact on your business interests, it is important for you to join us.
